I have a large apartment complex job that is a housing authority job and want to make sure to get paid on time.

Texas

My company got awarded an apartment complex re roofing job with over 80 units on the property. I am wondering what is the best way to get paid on time with this project. It is a government entity job with the housing authority in EL Paso Texas. I want to make sure we get paid on time and am wondering what is the right way to make sure we get paid. In the contract it does indicate we wont get paid until they get paid etc. If you can let me know any advice for this type of project and payment. The contract has not been sent to them and also wanted to know if there is something I can send with the contract to make sure I get paid on time.

If you are a subcontractor, you must file bond notices timely for all unpaid work each month by the 15th day of the second month after doing the work.
