I have a equipment repair company and I'm trying to find out the process to file a lien for repair of a golf cart and materials. Do I have to have an automobile repair business license? Is a good cart classified as a vehicle? Could you please provide me the process I would need to take to file a lien. Thank you
Unfortunately, this is a site for construction related matters. Older Florida statutes referred to construction liens as "mechanics lien" and does not include liens for repairs to motor vehicles, despite how it sounds.
