If you appropriately filed a lien and the homeowner is disputing it, the next step is filing a lawsuit to enforce your lien. Since this next step is an actual lawsuit, it will likely require more than just filling in a blank template. Once a lien must be enforced (and the property potentially foreclosed on) it is always a good idea to enlist the help of a local attorney who can guide you through and help you with the litigation process. And, if the lien was filed on behalf of a company rather than an individual claimant, it is likely not allowed for the company to represent itself in court. If the lien was claimed by an individual, there may be some templates available on the website of the clerk of court for the court in which the action must be filed, but it is not a good idea to undertake this part alone.
