Referring to above statement. Since 2009 ,when Midway nursery file the lein , I responded to the SantaRosa count clerk's office. Now I still see that the lein is showing up. I called the clerk's office to verify. They said the plaintiff never responded back. Why is it still showing up?
There is no mechanism to remove a lien from the official records.
Once it is over a year old without any action, it is simply no longer valid. A contest of lien will kill a lien within 60 days. It will always show up in the records, but it’s no good.
