We had major damage from Ida….we hired carpenters, signed papers(they never showed us the whole contract) they gutted my house partially and then stopped. After 6 months of waiting for them to proceed and they didn’t….we told them we wanted to cancel the contract and now they are telling us we are going to have to pay the whole contract sum!! I have already paid them 75% of my insurance award…..we need advise!!
