how would i get started in obtaining a contractors license?

FloridaConstruction ContractLicenses

hello, I am currently 19 years old. I have a certain plan with my father to get a contractor's license which I plan to use for either me and my family for plans we might have or if possible pursue a small career in it starting up. However, I do not know much about which license I am supposed to get or even if it's possible for me to have a license. I have no particular license in mind and would also like to know if I need job experience or go to school.

There are a number of different licenses for different types of work in Florida, and the requirements for each will vary. Since I'm not an expert on how to obtain a Florida license, below are a few online resources that seem helpful on that front. Further, when you decide what type of work you want to do or what type of license you want to seek out, services like Licenses, Etc. can help with that. - List of Florida Construction Licenses | Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation - Florida Contractors License Application Requirements | General Contractors License Guide - How to Become a General Contractor in Florida | WikiHow
