we agreed to a certain scope of work and GC made contract very vague where is generalizing installation of certain items that we do not agree with, is there a way we can get out of the contract?
Always specifically design your scope.

Please put together all emails as to what you agreed to do and send them to the GC. Make sure you affirmatively rebut every specific thing the GC is saying line by line without generality.
Maybe one could argue no contact was formed as there was not “meeting of the minds” as to what was actually to be performed.
Hopefully you have not “Partially performed” and created an agreement by conduct.
