My dad was about the closing table to sell his home and the lenders happen to find an SBA lien on his home that the previous owner had on it before my dad purchased the home. So his buyer's lending company does not want to move forward until the lien is removed which is about $10,000. My dad reached out to SBA but they pretty much gave him the cold shoulder and want the lien paid for. Could anyone give me some help on how we best move forward?
