I’m a homeowner who has had a fraudulent lien filed against my property. There are many issues including the work was not done. However, the easiest way I see to attack the lien is that is was filed late, beyond the 60 days required by the ORC. The dates written on the lien itself for last day of “work” performed at the residence are far beyond the 60 day time limit. What is the fastest, easiest way to have this lien removed?
Unfortunately, the only way to remove an invalid lien in Ohio is to file a lawsuit and get a ruling from a court that the lien is invalid. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
