We did engineering work for the owner of a residence and sent an invoice on 12/23/2020. No one could get ahold of the client for months including the architect. We finally found a family member and found out our client had passed away in Feb 2021. We didn't file a lien at the time and are wondering how we get on the list of creditors for the estate or are me out of luck?
