How to file a Notice of Commencement of Lien Action?

I filed a lien against a customer that is unwilling to pay for services provided. Their attorney sent us a Notice of Contest of Lien. It says we have 60 days to commence a lien action and 30 days to file a notice of commencement. How do I go about this? It is due on April 24th

You will need to file a lawsuit against the party that owes you for the services provided and then file a Notice of Commencement of Lien Action in the real estate records in the county where your claim of lien was filed.

Please feel free to contact me if you need any further assistance with this.

When a notice of contest is recorded, the lien claimant (you) must file a lawsuit within the 60 days, rather than the 365 days normally provided.

When you file the lawsuit, you must also file a notice in the property records of the county where the lien is filed, setting forth information about the lawsuit, incluiding the court in which the action was filed, and the date of filing
