Georgia allows property owners to bond off liens filed against their property, pursuant to § 44-14-364 of Georgia's mechanics lien statute. In order to discharge the claim of lien, the property owner must secure a surety bond - often called a mechanics lien release bond - worth two times the value of the claim from a reputable surety company. Then, that bond must be approved by the court - and upon approval, the lien claim will be discharged from the property title. The work isn't done there, though - notice must then be given to the mechanics lien claimant, and the bond must also be filed in the property record just like other deeds of real property.
Certainly, that's a lot to take in. However, whichever surety bond provider ultimately provides the bond to discharge the lien should be helpful in assisting or at least guiding you through that process. Additionally, consulting a local Georgia construction or real estate attorney should be helpful for clarity and assistance with the process.
In terms of surety companies - there are a number of potential sureties that might be helpful here including SuretyOne, who actually has a blog post on this topic: Georgia Mechanic’s Lien Release Bond.
