I have filed a lien and want to know what to expect from now. The client received a copy 7/10/21.

Unless suit to foreclose the lien is filed within one year the lien expires. The time for filing suit can be reduced to 60 days by an owner employing a "notice of contest" or the unlikely filing of a "show cause" lawsuit, where you would have 20 days to file suit on your lien.
