We are a pool construction company and we had just finished the first stage (excavation) and received a check from the homeowner. He asked us not to deposit it until the following friday but when that day came around he asked to pay via a credit card instead and when I called to get a credit card he didnt answer. Over several weeks we attempted to contact him with no response. We then decided to deposit the check to see if he had the funds. After about a couple days it bounced. This started the first full week in June.
