Nevada water GID filed a lien on property that I rent.I have never had water service, nor does the owner or myself owe them any money.I am responsible for paying all utilities.The lien was filed the next month after I rented the property. I sent a letter asking to establish an account in my name, offered to pay a deposit, they still refused service until I pay their lien of 900 $. They are charging me every month for not having water plus interest along with a $400 + administrative fee to file a $32 paper. I have lived here for over 5 years and have had to have water ported in to the property, which is created an extreme hardship for me as I am 65 and disabled. I have never owed them any money, neither does the owner and I have never had water service since I moved in. Now they send a bill for $3,800 and are threatening me with court. I feel this lean is fraudulent because I owed no money or had service to owe them money.
