If you're working on a Nevada public works project where the total project price exceeds $100,000, then chances are it's a prevailing wage project. Levelset discusses that here: Nevada Prevailing Wages Requirements & Penalties. To be sure, it might be helpful to contact your customer or employer to ask them about whether prevailing wages are being paid on the job. Or, you can contact the public agency in charge of the project or the Office of the Labor Commissioner for more insight. Finally, here are the 2019-2020 Nevada prevailing wage rates - and they'll be effective until Sept. 30, 2020.

If I work on a job where all trades are getting prevailing wage am I entitled to the same? When I brought it up to my employer he told me it wasn't in his contract. The work included a strip of stores including a bank. The work was also performed at night and on Saturday. The union for my trade gets paid time and a half for these hours
