Hello, I am trying to file an NC-required preliminary notice. If I understand correctly, this notice must be sent to a lien agent (NC - title insurance company) rather than the property owner. I read the article "What Is a Lien Agent?" which states that these agents are "highly visible" compared to trying to find a property owner, but the article doesn't mention how I would go about finding them. Can you please shed some light on how I might find the lien agent for a construction job? Thanks so much for your help!
