How do I file prelim with no address?

California

We have a customer that is stating there is no address for a job, that it is “Not just one job address – it’s a huge empty lot that they are building multiple homes on.” How do I file prelim for something like this?

For purposes of a preliminary notice, it is satisfactory for you to give your best description of the project location, such as "1 acre lot on Northwest corner of First Street and Main Street." In addition, every lot in California has an Assessor's Parcel Number associated with the location. I suggest you locate the Assessor's Parcel Number and add that to your identification of where you are working in your Preliminary Notice.
