There are important deadlines to consider with respect to filing your lien. In Georgia, you are required to file a Mechanic's Lien with 90 days of the last day work was performed on the property. There are other subsequent deadlines to consider after this date, but if you miss the first hurdle then you will lose ability to assert a lien against the property.
