We sent a lien for work that was done but the city rejected the work so we did not get paid and they are wanting us to release the lien.
You should retain a construction attorney to evaluate your legal situation and to provide advice. It may be that your work had issues due to causes not your fault. It may also be that a substantial portion of your work does have value and did benefit the project.
