Hello, I am trying to find some help for my friend. A restoration company put a lien on her house. She had a house fire and they came in and were supposed to give her an estimate and let her know how much it was going to cost. They did not do that. The restoration company started working and did not do a good job and was fired. Her dad took over and did all the repairs/renovations and/or got contractors for the home to be habitable. Now she gets a lien put on her house for $32,000. Do you have any advice? Should we handle it ourselves or get a lawyer?
