How can we keep everyone on site safe in New Mexico during the coronavirus pandemic?

New MexicoCoronavirus

We are a window covering company, involved in the construction process in many of our projects. we want to make sure that we do not put anyone at risk and of course we do not want to hinder our reputation by operating without validation. where can we get confirmation and an affirmative statement that our type of construction is ok to continue. Thank you

New Mexico's essential business list widely allows construction during this coronavirus shutdown. According to this essential business guide from New Mexico, "Commercial and residential construction and maintenance" can continue. Obviously, I'm not an official from the state, so you can quite hold that as gospel. But, if you send an email to covid.exemption@state.nm.us explaining your work and asking whether it can continue, you'll be able to receive an official message from the state about whether your work can continue. Certainly, it's imperative to keep workers, customers, and the entire job site safe. So, if you don't think you can safely continue your work, it might not be a great idea to continue for now. But, if precautions can be taken and if you're able to explain why your work is continuing to others - then it might make sense to move forward working on jobs. The rules and regulations are changing quickly these days, though. So, it's important to keep an eye out for changes to who can work. For help with that, here's a live tracker from Levelset: Can I do Construction Work In my State?
