I am a loan officer trying to help my Veteran borrower get cash out on his home. He does not owe anything so the VA will not allow cash out unless there is some existing amount that will be paid off. It was suggested to me that we could apply a $100 lien to the property that would then allow him to get the cash out that he needs. I have no idea how to do this. Can you help?
