We are going to release a lien on a project that we have fulfilled the contract amount. Now, the project is supposed to be going on through December on a T & M basis. How do we file a lien on a T & M job without an amount?

Generally, a mechanic's lien is a protection and legal collection avenue for sums unpaid and must include the amount past due under the contract that is covered under the statutes. If the party with which you contract has paid you up to date, you can't file a lien until they are past due on a payment obligation under your contract with them.
