helped a friend who's husband died she was his wife I have written contracts that everything spent will be repaid

So I dont have a license for contract work in dc but my friends wife was behind her mortgage and needed repair for her home so I provided funds her and her husband's family are going to probate court over the house I spent close to 25k and have a contract that it will all be paid back anything I can do
