I filed a lien and still have not been paid. I was under the impression that once the lien was filed it would be in affect until the payment was made? I'm not sure what next steps are at this point? If the lien is no longer valid, why would that be? If it is, then what is next? Is there a way to add fees to this lien for the out of pocket expense I've incurred for this service?
