I would like to get my general contractor license but I have only have experience under a commercial builder license. Is there a way to qualify for the general license without a college degree?

Yes but you will need 4 years of experience and proof of construction structures 4 stories or higher. New construction is preferred. You must have commercial experience to get a CGC or CBC. Renovation is OK but it must be a very large scale projects with structural issues. Schooling and Military service will reduce the experience requirement.
