We are a prime contractor. We will be filing a lien against the Owner. We do not want to attach the Prime Contract to the lien filing.
Yes, Arizona lien laws specifically require a copy of the written contract to be attached to the Notice and Claim of Lien under ARS §33-993(3): "The notice and claim of lien shall be made under oath by the claimant or someone with knowledge of the facts and shall contain... A statement of the terms, time given and conditions of the contract, if it is oral, or a copy of the contract, if it is written."
