Does tractor work removing weeds and brush need contractor license

Do i need a contractor license to use my tractor to clear weeds and brush from a lot? No buildings, no construction, vacant lot just clearing weeds, but would cost more than handyman limit of 1000?

Generally, if no construction or construction-related work will be undertaken, then a contractor's license won't be required. And, I don't think that manually clearing weeds or brush would require a license. If a license or permit is required to operate the machinery being used, then that license should probably be held. Though, I imagine most tractors wouldn't actually require a license. For more information on the Arizona license classifications: License Classifications | Arizona Registrar of Contractors.
