We hired a dry wall company to install 1/4 inch dry wall through our first floor of our home. Ceiling and walls. They installed 1/2 inch dry wall instead because they said it’s easier to work with. But that is not what I agreed to in our contract. I gave them 1700 down payment and the remaining is $2300. I refuse to pay that. I asked if they can reinstall what I wanted 1/4 inch. I was denied. But they would like the full amount anyways. What should I do? Does this sound right?
