Have electrical contractors business Been told not to start several jobs can we bring employees back without having work to do

If employees wouldn't have work to do, I'm not sure there'd be much point in having them report to work. Even still, as I'll dive into more below, only certain Washington construction businesses can operate as essential businesses. And, if the work isn't considered essential, then the employees would be able to work. Regardless, if the entire project is shut down and your customers are telling you not to work, it all may be a moot point. In terms of whether your work can continue - Washington has generally stated that construction and residential construction are not specifically deemed as essential activities. But, if the work is necessary for the safety of the structure and/or occupants, most construction businesses - including electricians - are able to carry on work.
