Does the states of California require an updated preliminary notice sent when the contract value has increased by 30%?

California

If a contract value has increased by 30% since the first preliminary notice was sent out for customers in CA do we need to send out an upgraded preliminary notice like we do in the state of AZ?

In California, a subcontractor only needs to serve one preliminary notice. A lot of subcontractors will serve an amended prelim. when the price goes up, so feel free to do so, if you wish, though you have no obligation to do so, under the code.
