I am a ST of FL Certified HVAC Contractor for 14 + years. I have a $10k bond with Old Republic Surety Group that I've had for several years. Is this REQUIRED? Also, can premium be waived if my credit score is over 600?

I'm not sure whether a Florica HVAC contractor is actually required to maintain a bond. And, questions about your premium should probably be directed at the surety providing your bond.
However, reaching out to a statewide HVAC organization, to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, to a local Florida construction attorney familiar with licensing requirements, or to a license specialist like Licenses, etc. might provide more insight into the state's bonding requirements.
