I am a property owner who recorded a release bond on the general contractor's lien, which included amounts owed to subcontractors. I now have those subcontractors separately filing their own liens even though those amounts were already included in the general contractor's lien. Does my release bond cover the subcontractor's liens in this context?
The subcontracts can record their own liens; a lien release bond is particular to a specific lien (in this case, your GC's lien).
