Does a manufacturer have lien rights when selling to a supplier?

Arizona
Anonymous Material Supplier

We purchase equipment from company a manufacturer (we'll say company A). We (Supplier) then sell to our customer, typically a mechanical company who is a subcontractor on a job. We file preliminary notices on our jobs to include our customer, the GC and property owners. My question is, is it necessary for company A to file a prelim on the supplier?

Typically the Levelset lien FAQ page for each state explains who does and does not have lien rights in that state. Please refer to the appropriate Lien FAQ page on this site.
