I've rented a few dumpsters to a business that was not a construction job. I wanted to know if I have any lien rights for nonconstruction jobs.

Mechanics liens provide protection to parties involved in the improvement of property - i.e. construction jobs. In Texas, in particular, a "work" giving rise to mechanics lien protection is defined as: " “Work” means "any part of construction or repair performed under an original contract."
