I'm a subcontractor, working under a GC on a commercial project in Arizona. Just as anyone does, I "markup" my materials by a percentage. When I get paid, and pay my supply house, they issue me the unconditional waiver for the month of which I paid. I don't like to reveal, nor should I feel I have to reveal, my cost to my GC. Is there anyway for my supplier to issue a waiver based on the month, that does not reveal the dollar amount? I know it doesn't really make sense that it would be possible- since the lien rights say an actual amount, but I thought maybe there was something I don't know about it to help me here.
