We were the prime contractor on a job in LA- I would like to know if the rules and deadlines for the preliminary liens still stand since LA has been hit by a hurricane. These notices require a final contract amount, we do not have one. In our contract with the property owner, we agreed to the following: Initial payment of $100,000.00 due within 15 days after the start of the project. Progressbills to follow until job completion. Any advice on how we can move forward?
