I keep finding conflicting information online regarding whether Iowa mechanics liens need to be notarized. The MNLR website has liens filed with and without, the Secretary of State form does not include a notary block, but the lien form provided by the Iowa State Bar Association does! Please advise, I'd love to skip this step in the future!
