Already filed lein last year. Still hasn't gone to court

If the lien is filed in PA, it cannot be “refiled” - Before the year period ends, you need to file a lawsuit to enforce the lien or the lien will expire and become unenforceable.

If you already filed and properly perfected a lien, it will remain valid. However, you must file a Complaint to enforce that lien within two years of the date that the lien was filed.
