I have been maintaining a property in SW,Missouri. And I want to know do I have any rights to file a lien for services rendered? The property in question belonged to a neighbor who passed away in 2018 after being in a nursing home since 2016. The Son-in-Law started mowing the property in 2016 at which time I volunteered to assist him in the mowing of said property. Shortly thereafter the Son-in-Law due to health reasons and a knee replacement could no-longer maintain said property. So in order to maintain said property at the level it had been kept I continued to mow and keep said property cleaned of tree limbs,trash and other such things including being mowed since the start of mowing season of 2016 or there about. The Son-in-Law fully knew and agreed that the property was being maintained as the same or in better condition than he had maintain it, he was very appreciative of my help and services.
