My contractor filed a lien against our property and never notified us. He had threatened to do it because we would not accept shoddy work and non-compliance with items listed in the contract. He issued a stop work order and we finished the project. We came to an agreement as to what we owed him and he accepted it. How do I get this lien off my property record? Thanks for your help.
