What are our options if we did not file notice to owner of lien. The company that subcontracted us went bankrupt.
If you are still within six months of your last day of work, you can serve the owner with notice and then proceed with the lien. If you contact me, I can assist: 314-862-1720.
There are likely a few different options depending on timing and other factors. You may have the ability to file a mechanic’s lien and/or you may want to make a claim through the bankruptcy court.
