It is my understanding that there is a backlog in recording documents at the Cook County Recorder of Deeds due to COVID. If I e-recorded my mechanic's lien at the Cook County Recorder of Deeds and it has not been processed yet due to COVID related delays, is the lien recording date the date I e-recorded the lien or the date it will eventually be processed by the Recorder?
