Could a broker, project manager and/or intermediary put a mechanical lien on a property for non-payment?

Florida

We are a broker, project manager and/or intermediary that manages projects that do not require permits such as repairs, painting, etc. We connect clients with licensed contractors. We earn a fee and/or commission in return for services rendered in matching clients and licensed contractors. Since we handle and are responsible for the transaction, if a client denies to make a payment, are we able to put a mechanical lien on the property?

Florida lien law specifically states who are lienors. You must perform work to improve real property. Lien for commission does not qualify
