Hi I'm a subcontractor, i received a demand for payment notice of claim for defense and indemnity. Its stating here that we did all the electrical work which we didn't. We never went on contract or sign any contract with the contractor, we did just minor work for one day only and got paid cash. We gave him a quote to be in contract with him for the rest of the job, but it never happened he must've no like the price. But we have nothing signed with this contractor stating we did all this work stated in the exhibits.
Sorry, my question is what should we do??
