Depending on how much time has gone by you may still be able to file a lawsuit for breach of contract, or if no written or verbal contract exists then an unjust enrichment claim.

I would need additional information about the claim, so if you want to pursue a lawsuit please contact our firm at 888-989-1777 to schedule an initial meeting.

Your options depend on many more facts such as whether you are
a subcontractor, if there is a lender, and on and on. As noted by my colleague,
provided you are within the statutes of limitations you can always sue whether
under contract or under equitable principles.

The best first step is to hire an attorney to review the
contract, the facts, and the evidence so they can try to resolve this before
filing suit. That is much less costly.

If you want to discuss further in a free consultation, feel
free to reach out.
