Clark County commercial property lien

Nevada

There was a lien put on my commercial property by a plumber almost six years ago in clark county Nevada. Job was done for one of my tenant under his name but they file it against my property with his name for unpaid balance. Even then it was past the 90 days filing by 10 days and I don’t understand why Clark county accepted it. It has been almost 6 years since he first filed it and I’m planning to sell the property is the lien still going to be valid or has it expired because I read somewhere it gets expired after six months if you don’t file an extension?

Clark County, like most recorder offices, do not inquire into the timeliness of a lien. It may be easiest to approach the claimant and demand that the lien be removed so you don't have to deal with it during the escrow process.
