City project, we are the GC, what type of bond(?) would we need to City to provide in the event of non-payment?

City project, we are the GC, what type of bond(?) would we need to City to provide in the event of non-payment? We are not clear on what would be needed to protect us as a contractor on City jobs. Thank you!
