WisconsinLien Waivers

Recently had a barn built, and looking for an "Final wavier of lien" for contractor to submit, one that satisfies Title company requirements?

Wisconsin is not one of the states that has a specific lien waiver form mandated by statute. So, any document waiving lien rights signed by the potential lien claimant after work is likely sufficient. A title company may have requirements that they would like to see with respect to a lien waiver, but as far as the actual rules and requirements in Wisconsin - pretty much anything goes.

You can find a final unconditional lien waiver (sufficient for Wisconsin and which should be sufficient for the title company) here: https://www.zlien.com/lien-waivers/wisconsin-final-unconditional-lien-waiver/

Hope this helps. You can fill out the waiver online and send it to your contractor for signature, or, if you want, you can print out a blank copy.
